The Incisors started in offence and were on fire, with two early blocks knocking out a Black Orc Blocker and a Blitzer. Despite this advantage, the Incisors found the Boyz still kept up the defensive pressure and managed to knock the ball loose. However, eventually, the agility of the Incisors paid off and they scored just after halfway into the opening half.

The Boyz lined up and played a hurried offence to bring the ball deep and then forced their through the Skaven line to score an equaliser just before the halftime siren.

In the second half, the Boyz prepared to play a long grinding offensive game, but a dropped pass in the backfield allowed the Incisors to penetrate deep with two Gutter Runners.

The Boyz were unpanicked as they could easily form a defensive cage around the ball, or so they thought. A pathetic block (Skull + Skull/Pow rerolled into the same) gave the Incisors the opening they needed to take the lead back.

The Skar Boyz tried their best to salvage a win, but the Incisors were too agile, with players (read every player on his team, not just the Gutter Runners with Dodge and AG4) dodging all over the place to deliver assists, and they managed to knock the ball loose.

The Boyz had two chances to draw the game, but the first attempt (a long pass) was fumbled by the thrower, and the second ended when the same thrower was unable to pick up the ball despite having short hands (if I had the ball, it would be a short pass, so 4+ with reroll, and then a 3+ to draw, not guaranteed, but a decent chance).
-------------
It was a close tight match. Congratulations to my opponent who played well and exploited my bad luck all day. What killed me in this game was the blitz on his Gutter Runner. I chose to use my Thrower who didn't have block as I would then have a much stronger cage, and I rolled the Skull/Pow + Pow twice. With the reroll, that is a 1/81 chance not to get a pushback which was all I was after. A pushback would have probably resulted in a draw or victory for me as I would have caged the ball strongly and ground my way forwards taking the full half to score.

With the bad block, I was down 1-2 and had no rerolls left thanks to a few early double skulls early on. Serves me right I suppose, if I had blitzed with a Blitzer instead, I wouldn't have fallen over at least and then I would of either secured the ball or made it much harder to score.

Anyways, congrats again to my opponent who didn't make a single bad move the whole game, and would have made it very hard for me to win even if he didn't get some help from the dice.

Nothing special to add to Malthors comment, except that i have a really interresting and really tough game against him. I am totally agree to the fact that the missed blitz from his thrower costed him the game .

After that the dice speaked in my favour, and managed to give me the win ...

You ll got a revenge ;)
