“As Gophur says it was a very close game with the dwarves scoring twice in turn 8, and neither score was guaranteed.
The elves might have been better off if they had delayed scoring for a turn or two at the start of the second half, but it was hard to resist the easy TD. ;) The Go-Backs now believe it was a trap set by the dwarves, and that they actually wanted us to score...

The match started with the Bunnies recieving the ball and attempting to push up the top side of the field only to get stopped on a turn 1 blitz by Indurs Go-Backs. His WD was able to scoop up the ball and ran near the top sideline where he had the ball stripped form him a turn later.by Easter. This set the WD up to go crowd surfing and took the pressure off the bunnies as Dog Boy scooped up the ball and ran to the safety of his cage defense. After 6 more turns of slowly grinding down the field the Go-Backs managed to get a blitz on turn 8 on the ball carrier but were unable to knock him over. The half ended with a blitz to free up the runner and a quick step into the endzone.
The second half started as most with elves holding posesison of the ball. Streaking downfield setting up for a turn 2 pass and score. I was fooled by what direction the pass was comming however and he threw the ball to mid field to a free man who carried to ball to a man within scoring range for a hand off. A quick blitz freed up his runner and he scored rather easilly. This quick score vs the Bunnies woke them up from their slumber and they came out of the bottom half of turn two with malice. The new TS Bunny Fu Fu came alive causeing 2 casualties and creating some problems for the elven defense. Buggs, the other TS was able to knock over the Palace where he stayed prone most of the second half. Even down men the elves put up a good effort on defense getting a 1 on 1 block on Dog Boy but again they were unable to knock him over.The following turn the Bunnies set up for a turn 8 score and handed the ball off to Bunny Fu Fu on the goal line expecting an easy score. However on a turn 8 blitz one of the elves hopped up from being prone and dodged thru the entire dwarf team in a brilliant display of agiality getting a hit on the TS waiting on the goal line. Unfortunatly for the elves the stout TS took the block and was able to walk in for the turn 8 score.
A very close game that came down to the wire.”
