“And so the final in the Goblin Kings knockout finally were played.
The Worm-Eaters were really going for a fast knockout this time, and in the first two thirds of the match they hardly seemed capable of failing anything. They pulled off incredible plays worthy of wood elves with ease, and the only thing their opponents had going for them was Nobbla Blackworth with his chainsaw.
Down 2-0 by halftime the Family Friendlies were hard pressed to get back into the game, but another lucky blitz from the Worm-Eaters once again gave them the ball. Nobbla desperatley, and more or less singlehandedly, tried to hold off the Worm-Eaters from scoring again, and for a time he succeeded. But in the end he too was swept away by the furious onslaught.
By now the Friendlies were down to only four goblins on the field, but due to an excellent last ditch defense (and some long overdue bad luck for the Worm-Eaters), the Worm-Eaters didn't manage to score again.
Thanks for the fun game Taffsadar, and better luck next time!”
