“To say this game was a nail-biter would be an understatement!
Alfonzo played the Wardancer Haldir to extreme perfection, gaining two SP rolls in the one game!!
I got the "Duh, Where Am I" Handicap result at the start of the game and actually clicked on the Wardancer to receive it..............but it went to the Catcher instead (well that's my excuse anyway)
Haldir was the star of the day, no doubt about it. One dodge roll was all he had to make on turn 8 in the 2nd half to score the game-winning TD.
Eltharion was the main star of the Griffons today, scoring both TD's to level the game.
Some silly mistakes on my part ended up costing me the game, I thought, for instance having the perfect opportunity to Blitz the Wardancer and blowing it on what I thought was a double block dice roll vs the lino in front (ended up being only 1 dice, then I proceeded to roll a double skull ..............).
Alfonzo saw the mistake and took advantage of it, kudos to him.
Great coach who was fun to play against! Can't wait for a rematch!”
