“Good commentary O Mighty Ren. I did get to purchase my First Warrior. Best of luck to your team. They have the hearts of lions, and the teeth apparently.”
The Chaos Attractors approached this (logically) as a recovery match, and in an opening salvo that saw the League reach the dizzy heights of 8% luck (failing 4 really stupid rolls, a GFI, a doubleskulls 2dblock and a 3+ rerolled dodge) things were going well for the 9 beastmen.
After a tight first half (accursed failed TTM landing stopped me scoring), however, things started to go wrong.
A sneaky switch from one wing to the other (my favourite stunty strategy) via a lone central gobbo gave us a simple td in turn 4, but in the process the Attractors suffered a Sploosh RIP (apothacery roll . . . 1), followed by an Si. Nasty gobbos.
From then on in, things went from bad to worse. The beastmen, without rerolls, failed pretty much everything, their luck plummeting until President darted in for a td, skilling up nicely.
With the MVP going to Macavity that made it 2 skills, +1FF and 70k - not a bad little return. But the Chaos got screwed. Sorry HunterX.”
