“Once again the Ripped Gut Clan is too tenderhearted for their own good. Wishing this to be a friendly match they didn't foul once, even when they got the ref at the beginning of the match, instead focusing on developing their players by doing silly things like passing...
The orcs quickly took the lead after a disastrous start of the elves first drive and the elves scored quickly on their second attempt. This left the Clan with what should have been ample time to score before the end of the half, but Prudosk Goldhand didn't manage the pass for the TD (or any other in this game, even though he tried lots of times).
The orcs managed better with their second half drive, even if it came close to a fiasco at several times, mainly due to the same Prudosk Goldhand. He not only failed to pass the ball despite his amazing agility, but he also knocked himself down when blitzing carrying the ball. Somehow the orcs still managed to score leaving some time for the elves to try again.
This last drive started badly for the elves, when the orcs blitzed them before they were ready. This startled the elves enough so that they missed an easy pass, leaving the ball lying in some elven tacklezones close to the halfway line. After some elfbashing which tragically got out of hand with one elf dead and another seriously injured, Prudosk Goldhand once again got the ball and tried to pass, but the pass was no better than before allowing the elves to snatch the ball and score in typical elven fashion.
By now the orcs fans were screaming loudly for the gobbos to be thrown in for an attempt at a gamewinning one-turner, but their shouting fell on deaf ears as headcoach Indûr had a "better" plan, he wanted to give Prudosk a last shot at getting a pass right to give him the one SPP he needed to develop some more. But as you guessed he failed once more...
Thanks for the game Mnemon, it was fun. :)”
