“Rather even match in the end, though moreso from stupid play by me and daring chances taken by my opponent than anything else. Except the opening drive, the elves never fielded an entire 11 men, and even that lasted til my first block ko'd an elf. Outgunning a guy should lead to good things, but a freak computer reboot-glitch stopped me from scoring a second time first half, leaving us 1-1. Fine, I steal the ball from his 7 elves next half to go up 2-1. He's driving, and my idiot break-tackle RO rolls a 1, and instead of crowdpushing an elf and bottling him up tight, he bh's himself and the elves score easily, 2-2. Fine, I'll score myself, 3-2. But now he gets all the way back up to 9 elves, and my guys ain't built to stop a decent passing attack, especially when he doesn't fail to pass/catch, so he ties 3-3, I have one turn left to try to promote a OTS. But he spreads his guys out just enough to stop even this from happening, so other than a frustration block/cas, I can't even get one last completion for a linerat skill before time expires. And HE gets the FF boost, while I go home the same yet again...
