“Rats!

The Gypsies went into this game a man down and went out many men down. The rats overwhelmed the underpowered Gypsies and ran circles around them. They picked off any Gypsy caught out in the open and injured four of the Dark Water boys.

The best the Gypsies could hope for was to circle the wagons and hold off the furry wave for a long as possible (which wasn't long at all each time.)

The new blizter, Auric, started off the game well, with the first casuality, but was careless enough to celebrate too close to the sideline. He was pushed in and will remember that lesson for a long time, considering the beating he took.

The old blitzer, Dirk Demon, was asked to retire after being knocked out for another game. Though the Gypsies cannot afford a replacement yet, Ironfist vowed to step up and hold the line (has anyone else noticed that he looks huge lately?). Steven Cougar has also promised to fill in until a proper blitzer can be found.

Dark Water is worried about the next game. They will be going onto the field with just nine players, one of whom is a new lineman from the famed, but death-prone Dark Water family, Stonewall.

If this was supposed to be a recovery game, then what will happen next?
