“After only just over half of the first period of play, a team of only 10 starting Chainsaw players was reduced to 5 - 3 knocked out and badly hurt - with the apothecary having already used up his medicines to treat a serious injury. Ze Toastas were taking every opportunity to foul in the name of winning and the referees just did not seem to care. Coach Chainsaw, seeing his side being systematically wiped out by the dirtiest team he'd ever played, brought off his players and jabbed the referee in the eye accusing him of being blind.
The most notable aspect to this game was the end of Razor's career. The super star blitzer, sitting out this game through the first injury in his time with the 'Saws, eloquently commented to reporters, "It was not the shame of conceding, which really was the right thing to do. It was that the side was so rubbish without me. I knew I was the only decent player, but that was ridiculous." Citing motivation to go on being the best player around and breaking records as being tedious work, it was the end of an era.”
