#12 Hair of the Dog – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#12 Hair of the Dog – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
In Response to your Comments: Nothing about what I said was uncivil to you. Before the game I simply noted that it seemed unfair to buy a star player when your team already had more team strength than me. I realize that it is a rule in bloodbowl, however, we were playing a game in the first round of a tourney, where the groups were based on relative team strength. Purchasing the star player put you in a higher bracket and meant you should have been playing higher team strength teams. The only comments I made to you during the game was reaffirming that I thought it was unneccessary to buy a star player when the tourney was based on team strength. I have run quite a few leagues and I try my best not to take unfair advantages when I am a tourney organizer. Since you are listed as staff, I would have expected better from you. After all, if you had purchsed the star when the tourney was being formed, you would not have have the opportunity to be in my bracket. That seems like bending the rules a bit...something you don't want to do if you expect people to play in your tournies.

After you fouled a few times when I already had less players than you and you were in control of the game, my comment was I should be reminded not to play you again. Again, that was not uncivil; if you read my coach bio, I point out my feelings on having multiple dirty players and using them for nonstrategic purposes (I doubt that the 3spp blitzer you fouled after you already had numerical superiority could hardly be called a strategic foul).

I am not the type of coach to surprise an equal strength opponent with Zug or to foul multiple times when I have the game in control and my opponent has no apoth left. When you can easily score to go up 2-1 in the second half and outnumber (14 v 9), and outguard a dwarf team, that is having control of the game.

I have talked with you in chat a few times and I had a different impression of you and your playing style. I was wrong and merely stated it. No swearing and no name calling.

I would like to spec your games when an opponent whose tourney you were giving a try hires a star and fouls you multiple times when he is in control. My guess is that you are civil when you choose a match up you feel is fair and you lose because you are either outcoached or outlucked, but not necessarily for the reasons I stated above. If you feel differently then I guess we have a difference of opinions. It matters little, however, as we won't be opponents again.

spec my games in the future. Notice when I'm losing and getting out cas'd I can still be civil to the other coach.
