“A win would give the Revenants the CTL title for the 2nd time in their 4 season history... a loss would mean that at least a draw, probably a win would be required in the last round.
But losing a ghoul into the crowd and a skull/pow on a blockless Lord of Remorse resulted in our opening drive stalling.
I resorted to dirty cheating fouls in an attempt to decimate the Wraithlords so that they will be outgunned in the last round, but I couldnt do that right with only BH's at worst resulting...
A very entertaining game and a clear example of one team playing the ball, the other the man (or elf).
Sets up a showdown in the last round.
2pts to that damn Witch Suzerain. Two crowd surfs, one through three tackle zones really swung the momentum.
1pt to the Crimson Daemon... damn annoying elf. Plus the name is girly :-)

Except for the apothecary, he was too wrapped up in watching the game to fix poor old Izzy.
I suspect the winning blow came in only the very second turn as Malachai got crowdsurfed, leaving the undead very few scoring/passing options.

Got really wound up late in the half and ensured they dark elves weren't going to run away with it. 2 casualties and their best blocker!

Damn wight wouldn't go down in the first half! As we were looking to get some easy fouls in while Clay was keeping the gotten ref confused, we kept finding ourselves robbed as this lad wouldn't hit the dirt!
Come the second half however, this turned out to be a good thing as he stubbornly stayed on his feet while getting pushed by the witch elf toward the sideline ;)”
