It all started out with his first blitz, after he received the opening kickoff, with a BO that resulted in an SI on my only skilled mummy. I knew from there with his strength I was in trouble but could at least manage some semblance of attack. Not too long after he made a mistake with the ball handler and I started down the field with a Ghoul. His thrower( who does not have block or any "bashing skill mind you) seriously injured him with a pow on a two die block. That sucked. I still somehow managed to get the ball back but on a GFI fell over with my wight and stunned him. OK, I was positive nuffle hated me at this point. He then managed to score on his turn 8.
I received at the start of the second half and with a good offensive tactic went down field (acquiring a new zombie while at it) and stalled until my turn 7 in which I scored. I just wanted to get out of this with a team of some sort. Somewhere along the line he managed to seriously hurt my wight with a niggle who also, like the mummy, did not regenerate. :-(
His turn 7 and with 5 of my guys in the cas box and 2 in the KO I still feel I can stop him from scoring the winning TD. We set up and all goes well when we are looking at turn 8 and he has his guys positioned to score. I have my sidestepper where he needs to be...looks good. Anyway he blocks my ghoul and kills it. Just awesome. Managed to totally hump my ghouls without a single tackle on the team. Anyway he did not score but my team is destroyed I think. I think I may try and recover it, but I doubt it. The opponent was not that bad but goddamn is he lucky.... ”
