“The Stingers winning streak towards promotion from the Regionals was dashed by a wall of solid Lizard scales. The Elves consider themselves lucky to have come off with a draw. Considering the hard hitting Lizard offence the Stingers were equally surprised by the lack of casualties in the dugout. A new re-roll was obtained to help with the dodging that let the side down in the second half. ”
The reptile fans were very nervous after coughing up the first kick and allowing the Stingers to skip away to a 1-0 lead. Perhaps the bigger worry was the early causality count with the Elves drawing first blood. The script seemed to be going very wrong...
Then Balljuggle and Ratpoker returned to their rushing best to turn the tables around to a 2-1 lead for the Fossils.
The last three turns returned to the expected script between these teams - Naphtali Wildelf blitzing and dodging 3 times to score, while the Saurii corrected the Casuality imbalance.
