“At the start Pandemonium recieved the ball and Bedlam managed to get a hold of it despite the wild weather. Some heavy upfield blocking appeared to clear a good path to the line until Honey-O's blitzed in and flattened Bedlam. A brawl quickly ensued over the ball with Clamour opening the affray with his 2nd KO, this time on the offending Honey-O's. Sadly Hubbub was unable to effectively block Special K who was left open to gather and throw to Crispix. But the ball was too slippery for Special and the ball stayed by the brawl. The body count was quickly turning nasty for the Elves as Awful Din opened his account and Weet Bix went off to the medics.

But as Maelstrom struggled to clear Crunchy Nut from the ball and Nut broke away to throw to a waiting Crispix, whose eyes strayed from the ball to the pursuing Ruckus. Again a pitched battle broke out for the dead ball: the elves managing to clear through Crispix until who spilled it again sprinting for the line. Ruckus regathered deep in Riot territory and time ran out before the score could be converted.

At the restart a fine hit from Cornflakes left Hubbub rolling in his owl drool and opened a big hole in the Riot's defence. Had the Breakfast not been four players down a swarm of Elves would have come pouring through. As it was it was only a couple and these were duly surrounded by the Riot with Bedlam and Hijinks running their own private blitz in pursuit of the ball. However, the Breakfast blockers cleared some space for Cornflakes to recieve the short pass from Honey-O's and sprinted through to score.

1-0 down but 4 (and quickly 5 after Maelstrom battered another elf into the ground) players up the Riot upfield blockers resumed their hitting spree hoping that Anarchy would gather the deep kick. Anarchy's long rush was soon ended by a heavy hit from Crunchy Nut which left both players dazed. Hubbub fell on the loose ball only to be smashed to the ground by Crispix. And in the commotion it was indeed Commotion who regathered the ball and ran in the equaliser.”
