“Pandemonium Riot kicked off to Wood Tastes Great on this very bright and sunny day.

The ball landed neatly in catcher Where'd He Go ?'s waiting hands and the elves rushed left. A small gap was left in the defence for Maelstrom to slip through and put a hit on the ball carrier but he failed to lay his horns on squarely. The ball was thrown cleanly to the Wardancer 'Cant Touch This' who dropped it under pressure from two beastmen and the blazing sun.

The loose ball was gathered by a blitzing Ruckus and the elvish cover defence failed to get a clean hit on him as he sprinted away to score.

The Riot pulled a sneaky move on the coming kick, an onside kick dropping just over the half into the blitzing path of warrior Awful Din. The beasts surrounded Din in as good a shield as they could manage and the Riot were rushing again. Sammy the Wise reacted angrily trying to foul warrior Awful Mess on the line of scrimmage but the referee spotted it and sent him home early.

As the riot ran for the end zone en masse Bedlam led the charge with a powerful horned charge on 'Where'd He Go' requiring an urgent rewiring of an elven jaw. But 'The Gingerbread Man' stripped the ball from the charging warrior of chaos only to be run down in the beast stampede. Awful Din recovered the ball and made the score.

The next kick came again with time to score left for the elves. 'Too Quick for You' gathered and passed cleanly to 'Where'd he Go' who handed it to a blitzing 'Cant Touch This' who raced away to the line. But speed got the better of the Wardancer and he crashed to the ground short of the points. A beast scrum descended on the ball and so it stayed 2-0 at the long break.

Kicking to Pandemonium the elves set up a widely spread defence. The Riot started on the hop with a quick snap and blocked a clear space to the right to run to, with Hullabaloo knocking 'I Am So Speedy' clean out on the way through. But Maelstrom failed to gather the ball and 'Cant Touch This' sprinted through and picked the ball up as it sat between Maelstrom and Anarchy. The attempt to pass the ball to safety was batted down by the beastmen though and Anarchy sent the wardancer flying with a heavy block. Maelstrom collected it cleanly this time and ran to his waiting blockers.

The elves speed was a real defensive asset closing ranks on the beastman scrum. The beasts responded by sending wardancer 'Cant Touch This' and lineman 'Quick Petey' off for some crowdsurfing as Maelstrom moved the ball forward, breaking a little clear of the safety of his blockers. The Gingerbread man stripped the ball in a fine hit and the ball spilled for 'Where'd he Go' to collect it and race for space...only to be charged down by Bedlam who collected the spilt ball. Some good tackling from the beastmen left him clear to make it 3-0.

Kicking for the fourth time the Riot got it right again with a perfect defence. The elvish handoff to 'The Gingerbread Man' went awry and the beasts responded with some good hitting, until Anarchy failed to get the better of the wardancer and got his collar bone broken. The elves tried desperately to score as the time ran down but their luck was not with them and it finished 3-0.”
