“Well not a lot of things went right in this game, but I did manage to survive, injury free, which was the main goal here.
Completely Worthless failed 60% of Attempted GFI's, this is not a made up statistic, I was actually tracking it. They did manage to get some good blocks in, but had nothing compared to the devestation that the Orcs dealt against them.
The Saurons Ogre did not bonehead the entire game, which allowed him to take almost all of the blitz actions, easily crushing anything I could use to defend the ball.
In the first half, the Dark elves did a slow drive up a sideline, with a paper wall of DE sealing a lane that the Ball Carrier could cruise up. As the Orcs moved down and ripped it to pieces the Ball Carrier advanced towards the end zone, with a single GFI (without a RR) the only thing stopping him from making it into the endzone. By the Score at the top, you can guess how that went. There weren't enough elves left on the pitch to turn around onto defense. The Slayers scored in turn 7.
In the Second half Completely Worthless played an incredible defense and managed to spring the ball twice. Both times the Orcs were able to recover the ball and finally plowed it in, for the touchdown, using two GFI's (without Rerolls) to get in. I was certainly Jealous. (my GFI's were at a 75% failure rate at this point.)
4 turns left. Still Possible to get the tie.
Drove some recievers deep, and moved the ball carrier back to a safe distance, with a few middle men left. Orcs got a good formation, crushing the middle men, and putting multiple tacklezones on recievers.
3 turns left. Score this turn or its a loss.
Failed to spring a reciever. Stood up and rearranged the middle men. The orcs on the recievers knocked over a few, knocked out a few, and pushed the other ones back outside of scoring range.
2 turns left. Game is lost, try and score for personal satisfaction.
Ball Carrier was 2 Spp, from his next skill, so he moved up and threw it to a middle man. The middle man had just stood up, and was unable to move the ball. Moved 2 players into Scoring position at normal moves, had a Witchelf that could do it with 2 GFI's. Orcs knocked over the two and stuned the witch elf.
Last turn. Dark Elves are screwed.
Handed the ball back to the original Ball carrier and he threw it back to the player that just handed it to him. End game.

Got two skills after this game.
