“Logbook Entry, Day 12.
Imperial Year 2505.

Dear Gods! Yesterday we entered the atmosphere of the designated planet and it almost cost us our lives! It seems that upon entry the space ship's temperature increased till it finally caught fire which resulted in the warp engine exploding. We landed in a secluded area in the middle of night and I believe our presence has gone unnoticed by any kind of creatues that may inhabit this planet that we may now get used to calling home.

To my amazement everyone survived - in fact I was the only one who got hurt and I may need some time to recover while we search the surrounding area for any signs of sentient life.

There is plenty of work awaiting us and I must ocntinue while the night is still young.
