“This was a very tough match. Being a man short i knew it would be hard but i thought it would be manageable.....it wasnt.

The Gutz lost the toss and were forced to kick to the Ladies. The LOS crumbled and the Ladies were able to swarm into the back field. The Guts bairly had time to plug the holes and the Ladies were in for TD number 1.

Eager to finally hit back and cause some injuries, the Guts recieved the kick and tried to smash down the dies. The problem is the Ladies were too hard to tackle. They kept dodging away from all tackle attempts and eventually crowded the ball carrier and they were in for TD number 2.

The Guts needed a way to secure the ball to stop these assaults. The next drive showed more promise. The Guts were able to semi cage the ball and slowly advance upfield. The security was short lived and the cage was broken open. The goblins however scuttled for the TD line with the ball and were 1 turn short of the line. The Ladies safety was able to clean up the goblin and launch a long bomb pass down field. With time for 1 turn left, the goblin that just got smashed dodged away from his defenders and started screeming for the ball while dancing in the end zone. Run Like Da Wind heard the screams, scurried to retrieve the ball from half way and launch a long bomb which is a long way for a little guy and miraculasly, it made it all the way to the end zone and Here We Go mangaged to grab it before it hit the ground.

End of the half, the scores 2 - 1.

The second half started to get tough with players going down hurt and not having any reserves. We tried to walk the ball down field but with a few early errors, we got put under preassure. The rookie Blocker "I'm With Stupid" was splattered over the turf from a soft hit. Better to weed out the weak early in their careers i guess. The Ladies were able to skate in for a 3rd TD and the Guts had no reply.

The Crowd favourite was Deepkick for his "Fancy" throwing display in the match.

Overall a very good game and the boys are coping with loss number 1 just fine. In fact the ref was only SI'd by the Boyz and not killed like in previous games.”
