Important things first:
1- This game was a blast. I didn't have so much fun in a long while.
2- I played +72 TS and risked to lose.
3- Naama never gave up, and got horribly dice-raped in the first half.

Now I can start my report.

Niggling injuries played a major role in the pre-match sequence... Both my best blitzer and Naama's best beastman missed the game. This was a major advantage for the Hellfishes.
Naama started well with a casualty and a KO (both my blitzers), but so did the Hellfishes niggling one beast in the very first block. After 7 turns of fight for the ball, Chaos finally scored with a "pickup-longpass-catch-double gfi" action without rerolls in turn 8.
Things looked grim, but the humans used a nice chainpush and a quick snap result to score a one-turn Td, ending the first half 1-1.

In the second half the Hellfishes were fielding 10 players vs the 7 of Naama, and probably lost concentration and forgot that you gotta be evil. They didn't foul, but stalled 5 turns, while Naama's dirty players thinned the human lines. The Hellfishes scored as soon as the ball was in danger, but they had to defend 9 against 7 in the last three turns.

The chaothic Troll (worst player of the match) got the ball after a touchback, and ran to the endzone. Then he handed off the ball to a beast in turn 8, to score the most unexpected equalizer.
2-2, and Overtime!

Overtime saw 8 humans and 7 chaos worshippers fighting for the ball. Eight turns after, the ball had only moved 2 squares, while the humans were down to 4.

After such a long and intense match, the referee decided to toss a coin to decide the winner, and Nuffle once again favoured the Hellfishes.
Coach Jan admitted his mistakes, and promptly marched to the Chaothic dugout to congratulate with Naama and his boys (not the Troll, btw).

I think the tie was the right result for this game.
Skill would have given the victory to Naama.
Luck gave the victory to me.

#11 Harwin Hoofstalk III – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#11 Harwin Hoofstalk III – Smashed Knee (NI)
In my infinite wisdom, i write this report now as i can hardly remember any specific information about the match, other than that it was fun, exciting and contained a few twists and turns.

I guess all the odds were against me, with having to play an opponent who had over 70+ ts, a wizard, a hired star plus the fact that i started the game with 10 players.

Right about now i don't know what to say, i've wrote something down a dozen times and erased it almost instantly. Was lucky to keep the game even to the end, but luck failed me during the coin toss. The better man won and i have no regrets about this match. Atleast now i get time to heal my team for the Fumbbl Cup QS Qualifiers ;)

The best of luck for Janmattys in the tourney, and who knows? If im lucky enough i might get through and we may meet again ;)

-Naama
