“Die Warp Maus pull another one out!

Seriously outmatched this time (30 TS points), before the game they uttered a silent* prayer to Nuffle...only amazing luck could save them now...

*by 'silent' I of course mean 'squeakingly, screamingly loud'

The first block of the game...LineMaus Franc out with SI. It seems Nuffle didn't hear so well this morning. Kupparna takes another few rats off the pitch, and scores a short while later. Morale is low in the Maus dugout. But then, Biter kills the opposing DP in the opening block of next drive! Maus' own DP takes out the AG Guard line-elf himself, and the rats cage up good, good enough to score after the rest of the half spent cracking elves on the noggin. Biter takes out an opposing Witch Elf with a cruel 'Claw to the Groin' manuver for SI Groin Sprain.

At halftime, some Ko'ed elves come back, making it roughly even numbers on the pitch for the second half. Maus cages up again, but then, sweeping left, disaster! Afterburner takes a tumble with the ball trying to get away from a diving tackler, and it bounces behind the Kupparna line!

Kupparna quickly recovers, and Svenska Kuppen nabs the ball, tearing off towards the end zone with few rats in Blitz range. But overconfidence was his downfall. He turned at the end of his sprint to shake a fist over his shoulder and shout, "In Your Face Your Dirty Rats!" But his foot struck a loose chunk of the pitch, and he crashed to the ground, knocking himself unconcious.

Die Warp Maus swarmed back over to the ball and snagged it, escaping the Dark Elf Blitzer who tried to run Vaportrail down, and caging again midfield. Kupparna surrounded the rat cage, and the last witch elf rook down Biter, stunning him momentarily.

Linemaus Helmut picked up the slack and ran up and planted the Knuckledusters he'd been packing all game in the offending witch elf's face, knocking her to the pitch in a bloody pulp. Die Warp Maus's gutter squad broke free and caged around Scaper with the clock running down, just within touchdown range.

And then dister again struck Kupparna, as a rookie line-elf misread his opponent badly in an early block - with pow/skull pow/skull Re-Rolling to Skull Skull! Scamper wasted no time scampering across the goal line.

For a moment there was the thought that a one turn touchdown to equalize might be possible in the last few seconds of the match, but Maus' coach read the Kupparna offense Perfectly, and realigned his players to make such a feat impossible, leaving Kupparna to spend their last moments mashing rats down at the line of scrimmage.

Good Game with Bad Luck for Kupparna, you can only play so well in the face of skulls and 1's. But Die Warp Maus hopes to see them make a Quick Start, as with a little recovery the DE would be a good bet to go far (once the dice would even out)
