“An very tough match-up for the RaceWarriorz against the experienced Stalkers. The Stalkers werewolves had been fed a diet of crunchy bones in preparation for the match and showed their intent right from the start when the first blitz by Shadowfang resulted in Cookie Monster being smashed apart! He was obviously a fresh recruit to the Khermi team as Kalmort was able to raise him as a zombie (must still be a bit of brain matter left). After that the Stalkers were able to quickly turn over the ball, with Shadowfang running in the first touchdown.
The Warriorz then almost managed to run the ball in for an equaliser but the Stalkers showed suprising agility to retrieve the ball and instead pass the ball down the pitch for a second touchdown.
Receiving the ball for the second half the Stalkers were able to score half -way into the second half before a lucky blitz result at kick-off allowed them to steal the ball and score a fourth touchdown at the end.
Though the Stalkers have had ties greatly in their favour of late the team seems to be coming on well. Of particular note is Shadowfang, who since having his ankle smashed has got more and more agressive like a lamed dog!
Well what can I say about the game. The TR gulf was greatly in my favour, which combined with good luck and no bad handicaps made the game pretty straight forward dispite good play from my opponent.
Good luck in the next tournament :)”
