“With 10 orcs on the pitch vs 3 elves after a succession of KOs, in attempting to get a black orc to score, I gave him the unlikely, improbable, nigh impossible opportunity to get near the ball. 3tz dodges past tackle players, nothing failing from turn 2 or 3 of the second half, and he managed to stop it. Amazing. It wasn't the first nor the last time he'd get back. Add to that my lads failing everything past turn 4 of the second half (how many blocks to get 1 guy down? Throwers failing to pick up the ball, etc etc) and by some miracle I failed to score in 8 turns.

I didn't tihnk the luck in general was that favourable for my side. There was a lot of mb, hence the KOs so if anything the single BH was surprising. I would have said astute defense (sticking tacklers on players, using guard to make blocking difficult) was the reason Tautology failed to score quickly in the first half.

Well done to Tautology for not giving up against all odds. Sometimes when you need a few 6s, this goes to show it can happen.”
