“One of the most exciting matches that I have had the pleasure to participate in on fumbbl to date. With pouring rain it lived up to its expectation of being a heavyweight slugfest.

The first half saw most of the action in a scrum at mid field. A great number of players were taken from the game at this point. The initial situation looked grim for the orcs, but with a proper application of the team wizard, a shaman from the remote reaches of orc territory, we were able to cause the turnover. The sad thing is that the chaos were on the ball in recovering the fumbbl on the scatter twice. Afterwards the agile chaos were able to recover nicely to make a late half score.

The orcs went back out in the second half determined to tie this one up. They of course have already bought into the concept of bashing your way to the end zone and did not disappoint on this high stake situation. After a reverse, supported by the death of a couple beastmen, we were able to tie the game by the end of regulation time.

We received the ball for the overtime session, and things were looking good. But these chaos were ready for us. After blitzing our thrower off the pitch and picking up the ball after the thrower had issues in picking up the slippery ball, we were able to knock it lose and our goblin, a coach favorite, braved the ogre to get that ball and run down the field. two attempts to bring down the little fluff ball by his claw beastman failed and the made the score. The continued rain allowed us to hold off the chaos in the final turns of the overtime session.

I must admit that I didn't think my orcs capable, but with this favorable result I feel that we are capable of much. I am looking forward to my next opponent.
