Happniess Will Prevail!

Sugar factory established in Orc sector. Two kiljoy enclaves destroyed in Orc sector.

Once again Da Happiness Patrol felt slightly gloomy for the first half, facing another Orc team on nearly equal footing for an official challenge match! However, this killjoy spirit would simply not do, and the Fondant Surprise was quickly used to take out the opposing thrower who had harassed ball carrier Helen A relentlessly.

After this, spirits picked up, and another opposing Orcs was carted off the pitch, and a further two knocked out. Da Happiness Patrol scored as time wound down first half, with Earl Sigma scampering in the touchdown.

Grrrindfest troll Goldberg then spiked goblin Spike, so the one turn flying touchdown play came to a quick end, as did the first half.

Second half both teams had a full lineup on the pitch, though Da Happiness Patrol was flushed with their success first half and spirits were back up.

The opening drive found goblin Spike again with the ball, rushing wide down Happiness’ right flank. However, he run just a bit far ahead of his Black Orc Blocker screen wall, leaving open a chance for Fondant Surprise to Blitz him! The tasty strawberry dessert-orc charged the lone goblin…only to get sucker punched by the diminutive little fellow! Fondant Surprise went down, and Spike quickly scampered across to the End Zone to equalize the score 1-1.

The next drive proved…strange. Though again both teams had a full lineup, Clan of the Grrindfest’s depth was running down – and after Candyman took out a BOB (while taking down himself!) The numbers advantage for Da Happiness Patrol began to show. Earl Sigma again recovered the ball, and headed slowly down the pitch. However, after a strange hiccup in the space-time continuum, Grrindfest line-orc Flair pulled a neat trick, and managed to Stealth himself completely. He was able to assist and prevent assists, as well as block – but was completely invisible to Happiness players! This caused few problems however, as further KO’s left Grrrindfest badly outnumbered, and Earl Sigma was able to advance on the End Zone with impunity, finally safe behind a screen that Grrindfest orcs were powerless to penetrate. Stealth Flair was taken down in a brazen attempt to knock CandyMan back, and Earl Sigma dashed across the line just as the timer ran down to 0.

Good game despite the oddities, and although the blocking injury was very one sided in Da Happiness Patrol’s favor, the depth of the Grrindfest roster kept that to an almost non-issue until the very last drive. Da Happiness Patrol will see you on the pitch again arktoris…so cheer up! :)

Gah! We hate Happiness! That is why we have no ladder point thingys! What are we suppose to do with this "sugar factory"?! At least sugar make holes in teeth...just like we do : )

a very entertaining game despite my teams soft armor and blocks. Spike was almost a one man show doing everything right, always catching the ball, always surviving the block, and even making the TD. However, pretty sad for the orcs to have to say the goblin is the best player. Of course, head coach's strategy wasn't the best either.

I'm glad the constant mini disconnects throughout the second half didn't spoil the game and Happiness Patrol was awarded a well earned ladder point.

but don't think it's over! We will be back....and Happiness will not prevail! Bhahahaha! Grrrr! Roar!!!! mmm....sugar.....Noooo! Grrrr!
