“UMT V Div C Round 1

The first half started out with some pretty awful blocking for the lizzards as the High Elves managed to make it 1-0 in the 3rd round despite a miss-move by Trif. The bad blocking continued but in the end the luck failed the now RR less elves and the Lizzards could make it 1-1.

2nd half commenced and as the Blodge/Leap High Elf Catcher was KO it was the omen of a bad half to come for the elves who had lost their most valuable asset in the attempt to stop the Lizzard grind. I made some less than impressive moves in the 7th turn but I managed to block the way free and ran in the 8th turn TD after a half with great blocking for me and some badly timed ones for Trif.

Trif hoped for Injury time to grant him a chance to score but was instead greeted by a Blitz!
