“A breakout game for the Hobgobs! Gruddy Foresthumper and Moldo Onionmangler made up for their missed TD in their first game by both scoring TDs. The Hobgobs also found the haflings to be a little soft in the gut and were able to get a few casualties. Two of the 3 fatalities resulted from blocks thrown against us! Guess the best offense is a good defense? After two unsuccessful attempts to foul a treeman with a gang of friends, the sneaky Hobgobs finally managed to get one in though his bark. Their perseverance was duly rewarded as the treeman spewed sap, wilted, and expired.

Condolences to my opponent who was a great sport despite the gruesome outcome. I know the loss of the treeman will sting for some time, but the haflings are easy to come by. At least my opponent made some pretty good coin and didn't lose fans. I'm sure he'll be back to test his 'fling mettle against the Hobgobs soon enough.”
