“After an initial good start, the first game between Awesomely Awful and Wozza's Whirlwinds had to be called off for 'bad light' (the referee was currently seeing it at the end of a dark tunnel).

The second was far less violent, but still entertaining. No injuries were reported (much to the dismay of several Black Orcs who in fairness had tried their best) and only Squabble picked up any SPPs for his single equalizing touchdown (he had decided not to press his luck as the entire Lizardman team seemed intent upon ending his fledgeling career in an excessively violent manner).

The winnings gave Wozza a chance to hire on some more muscle and to hope that one of his bleedin' non-goblin players will actually start learning how to do more than punch people (not that there needs to be much more to the Orcish game).

A good game, with well executed Man-to-Man marking by the Lizardmen. Glad to see no deaths arose for a team that's down on its luck.”
