Ok, I managed 1-1, but started second half 4 men.

Then my fantastic 4-man drive was snake eyed to a halt, and my opponent started steamrolling me.

For some reason he found the odds of my 4 man team growing to a 6 man team with two lucky ko rolls, intimidating and decided to throw the ball around for SPP and stalling out the half. Unskilled lineelves are dangerous ya' know ;)

A lucky blitz managed to strip the ball, and in turn 7.2 it was dislodged.

My opponent decided to block him away and succeeded. But that wasn't enough. Without any team rerolls left, he had to go for a crowdpush on my 4-man team.

Personally I would just have been satisfied with a pushback, lining up my team just in case my 2+ pickup failed for them to catch the scatter. Shouldn't be too impossible with 10 man on the pitch...

But rather he went for the push, powskulled and my man stayed on the pitch. Then I got the ball, tried to throw it away, but failed. Of course I got a turn 8 crowdsurf for my efforts (never mind that a pushback would have done the job just as well in regards to removing my guy). But it all ended up well, since my 4-man team (reduced to 3) managed to stop the elves from scoring.

4 High Elves stopping 9 wood elves and a treeman. I can't wait to see what my 10 man squad will do in their next game :-)
