#11 Hug Hug – Dead (RIP)
“The cuddleys matched up against their first Elven team, and it would turn out ot be the most fun I've had in ages!
The dodgers took the first drive, and had a fair bit of luck blocking my cuddleys out of the way. Thanks to their high agility and quickies placement, the elves were able to (mostly!) get away from my Trees, who were rather thirsty this match and took root more often than not.
My defence fell apart, not being able to get to the ball carrier, and the score was 1-0 to the Dodgers. Good score.
Now, having quite a few KOs, and being faced with a race that could keep up with my Pixies, I decided for a bold option....throw the brownie!! Luckily, the ball was kicked out of bounds, and I pegged Sugar Sugar over the defensive line....touchdown! The little guy made it home, and signed up immediately for health insurance and ambulance cover.
The dodgers hit onto their second drive as before, knocking my fairies out of the way. What with 4-6 faries in the KO box at any one time, I was finding it hard to form a defensive line that would't let a flood of players through. I managed some lucky 3-die against blocks, but the elves were too nimble. 2-1 dodgers, end of first half.
So...what you going to do when the game is on the line? TTM again of course. This time things couldn't have gone better if I'd planned it. Handoff, throw teammate and landing all succeeded without a Reroll needed. Sugar Sugar again ran over the touch-line, and some of the other brownies kicked the dirt in disgust...what a show off.
The Dodgers lined up for what could be their final push, but thanks to some quick work by the teams apothocary, all our Ko'd players were up for defense. This time, we managed trap the ball-carrier near the sidelines and push the ball out of bounds, spilling right where Clarisa-bell could pick it up and cruise to the winning touchdown!
The only downside was the death of Hug Hug, who was visiously taken out with an elbow to the head. The apothocary decided that his services were better spent getting KO's players on the field, so Hug Hug left the team to go to the great big forest in the sky.
Thanks quickie for an..err..not so quick game. I had massive lag problems. You're a really fun coach to play and I'd love a rematch, especially with more flying brownies!”

In first half all went well. The trees of the Wuddleys made a little Wood in the middle of the field and the dodgers could feint an assault on the right side and quickly changed all players to the left wing. But at least they needed 6 turns to manage the touchdown, used all practice from the training (RR), Erdowil refuses to use his new skill and the opponent had 7 fairies out, but only in the ko-box. Well as long as the Weiddleys don't get a touchdown this half, all would be well. But then, the Dodgers still distend their muscles as something darken the sun. "Is that Sugar Sugar?" the assistand coach asked, but his cry to the players was too late. 1:1 was the result after the first half (some difference to Patricians report, but look the replay).
Second half started with more or less the same action, unless the dodgers were prepared but not fast enough, and after only three Turns the score was 2:2. The crowd was pleased, they cried: "Touchdowns finally! Touchdowns finally! But we miss the injuries! But we miss the injuries" and throwed a load of rocks to the field. Stupid folk, there was a big hole in the defence of the dodgers, so the weddleys tried a new tactic: run! But they had no luck with it because the dodgers managed to strip the ball and to put too many players near the ball. "Tactic K" the coach of the fairies shouted to knock-knock. the brownie turned around with eyes wide open but the coach only nodded. knock-knock rushed forward an pushed (three blocks against the little one and no skull rolled) an elf on the ball, the ball bounced to the spectators and they throwed it to clarisa-bell. She took the ball and ran for the 2:3.
The chances to get a tie were well but the player were demoralized (some exyample? 5 of 7 dices shows a 1 in turn 7).
Was a really funny match! Thanks Partician for that and I have also some other teams that revenge upon my dodgers!”
