The game started out with Swealtering Heat and a Blitz! for the amazons who took the chance to mancover some Coldbloods and put pressure on the ball.
The Lizzards responded with plenty of clean Pow!s, of which one made by the Kroxigor managed to break Armour and KO the DP.
This was evened out as a skink made dodge, failed and got BH.
Constant pressure by the amazons as well as a BH Saurus enabled the zons to take control of the ball. It was a struggle to the EZ as the Lizzards got the ball loose and the Amazons did the same in return till the finally managed to clear the way and score.
The heat took down two Sauri and it was hard for the Coldbloods to maintain field control with 1 in the dug outs and two in the reserves. A brief opening reared it's face but a 1 Die block with a RR only produced two (2) pow/skulls BH a skink and Niggling a Strong Arm Thrower (which is odd as it showed as a BH in the client and meant that Tricktickler didn't use his apoth). The str. 3 skink was killed (and apothed) the ball was knocked loose once again and the amazons spurred to the endzone. Despite desperate resistance by the Lizzards the girls again managed to score.
Frustrated by the futile attempts at evening the score and facing a more numerous Amazon team I made more mistakes than in the first half which showed, but I'd make the claim that Lady Luck wasn't completely at my side either. The amazons managed to score relatively easy despite my str. 3 knocking down the ball carrier in a 2d block but the diminished team and the now less than optimistic coach didn't succeed in getting the ball (two consecutive dead skinks of which one was the str. 3 (again) didn't help at all =P).
To further add insult to the injury a Perfect Defence showed up on the Kick Off, shattered the hopes of even scoring and the Amazons managed to score in the two turns they had left.

To sum up the game. I had expected the match to be tough with all the blodge (for the Amazons) and no tackle (for me) but this was way more than I had feared. A two die block against on my str. 5 saurus, hardly any failed dodges for the zons and two very dead skinks was pretty grim.
Good game however as I feel I played rather well despite some occasional mistakes (especially in the 2nd half) and Tricktickler was a more than worthy opponent.
I fear for my coming matches but let's worry about that when it comes.
Thanks for the game, Tricktickler and good luck in the tourney.
EDIT: Was of course Swealtering Heat (or whatever the name is) - not Very Sunny”
