“Late match report, as I had to head away for the weekend.

This match was just unfair on creidann, nuffle put the boot in time and time again. Taking the first drive, Creidann scored quite easily, and then settled back to let me score. I was lucky with some injuries early, but he rallied with one of his own soon after each, so I never really had a player advantage.

The 2nd half pretty much went to him, and even the Blitz we were given didn't work. On turn 8 he was all set to score, with 1 GFI needed with a RR....and that was nuffle's first strike...double 1's!

Instead of 2-1, it was 1-1 in Overtime. Creidann was getting tired (it was nearly 1am there) and the Festering Hosts got a decent drive to push ahead. 2-1, with 4 turns to go.

Then, on Creidanns drive, nuffle struck again with Skulls on a block, allowing my rats to grab the ball and scurry to the touch line again. Another Skulls stopped him from sacking my Gutter Runner, and it was 3-1.

By this time, Creidann was justifiably annoyed. He had done everything right, tactically placing longbeards so that my Gutter Runners couldn't use their dodge skills, using the cage effectively, and really making things hard for me even when I outnumbered his dwarves....and I won 3-1. It should have been 2-1 his win, but Nuffle stepped in.

Bad luck to Creidann, I'd love a rematch sometime, you were a fun opponent. ”
