I hadn't expected to win, but at least a chance! Nuffle decided early on that this was not going to be easy for the little critters. Mikkel - the rat ogre - caused at least 3 turnovers in the few moves he made (when he wasn't roaring!) Quite a few double ones to top it of leaves no chance against a skilled coach like Origami.
Congratulations on a deserved victory and sorry I couldn't pu up more of a fight. Come face the real teams next time, not the soft ones in Loren ;o)”
Nuffl decided to curse the rats today. The Friends' Rat Ogre showed illustrated why some Skaven coaches play without rat ogres, as he caused turnover after turnover in the first half, eventually knocking himself out. The Dwarves then managed an elven style "hand-off then pass" play in the last turn, moving the ball across almost the entire length of the field for a touchdown.
Out 5 KOs, only a couple came back for the next half...and one of those was the Rat Ogre. This proved to be a bad thing, as he proceeded to go "wild" and cause more turnovers. This allowed the the Dwarves to recover their balance after an early blitz, and they proceeded to march down the field for another touchdown.
Ironically enough, Mikkel, the Rat Ogre, received his team's MVP.”
