When you are up against a good coach with a better team on paper, you need to have things go your way to be in with a real chance and whilst the scoreline says it was close and yes, he did score the winning score on his last turn, it was a game in which I was forever on the back foot.

I lost my Beast for most of the 2nd half when he was KO’ed early and my chainsaw firstly failed to start and then was ineffective in his one and only hit of the game… Nobbla was soon in the BH box and basically was money down the toilet. I now regret I should have bought a wizard instead.

My opening drive was stalled and I turned it over and was down 1-0 at half time, but only my lowest beastman was in the BH box along with Nobbla, so I was doing OKish.

The 2nd half I managed to turn the Mandinka Tribe over and my AG5 beastman scooted away for the score but only after he survived a Bull Centaur blitz (Trickticklers only bad dice roll of the game).

Needing to turn it over again, I made an elementary mistake on my turn 7 and took a needless GFI which I promptly failed and that opened it up for him to take it away. Whether I would have won in OT is another question, and I was hard up against it with so much guard and mighty blow, but I am disappointed to have buggered it up so badly at a critical time.

But thems the breaks, and I wish Tricktickler all the best for the Fumbbl Cup Finals… well played.
