“This reporter has never seen such domination by one team over another. The poor 8 Pointed Stars must have been recovering from wagon lag because they seemed to have sore behinds all day. Or maybe that was from being knocked to their keisters the whole match. They also looked a bit confused from time to time. This could also be from constantly spinning around to watch the elves of the Silberschein Dodgers sprinting pass them with the ball on their way to the endzone.

The game opened up pretty much the same way as it ended. It only took about 2 minutes for the elves to glide down the pitch, passing and handing off as if they were handling a gently falling scarf. They had scored before the chaos team had finished their blocking assignments. From then till the end of the match, the Stars only managed one trip inside Dodger's territory.

The Star's only time in Dodger's territory came early in the second half, down 3-0 and hoping to get back into the game, the Stars blockers opened up a path down the middle. Mr. Norris received the ball from Portal Holder and proceeded to sprint down the empty Dodger's backfield. One tackler came up from behind but Mr. Norris was able to dodge him and was about to leap into the endzone. While dodging, Lord Despoiler came up to help take out the tackler but fell on his face after tripping on his boot buckles. This caused much concern for Mr. Norris who didn't see the elf blitzer pound him into the dirt causing the ball to come out. Again, it only took the elves about 30 more seconds to get the ball to the endzone. The Star's premature celebration was cut short when they noticed the wispy elves merrily dancing their way into the endzone for their 4th score.

One insight into the Star's failure comes at the expense of their newest acquistion, Eggz Nozzlebloze, a goblin. The Stars were hoping to improve their passing game, but someone should have told Barn Door. Towards the middle of the second half, the coach instructed Barn to throw Eggz at the sprinting elf, to try and stop him before he crossed the goalline. However, Barn thought that the green shape was merely a snack that needed to be crushed before eating. The apothecary was called out once more to save someone from death, and had he been another second later, he would have had to wait for a stool sample to do any sort of medicine on poor Eggz.

After the game, I caught up with Lord Despoiler to get his comments, and this is what he had to say, "This is the beginning of the end! You all will wish you had not seen the coming of Lord Despoiler! Chaos shall reign supreme and the small creatures of the earth will bow before us!" This was right before the rest of the team restrained Lord with words of soothing and told him he was not on the Desolate Plains of Darkwaste. Lord became very quiet and seemed to try to suck his thumb.”
