1st Half:

Slow drive, starting to KO a few Elves, all looks reasonable. Up comes a few dodges, 1db Blitz, ball scatters to his unused 4ST geezer in the middle of a green army, dodges away nicely to set up the score against the drive. Wholly unbelievable...but it happens occasionally. T7, the Elves fans invade the pitch, putting any question of a 2-turn TD out of the equation, and the gobbo/troll in TZ's. T8 the troll fails his OMFG HOW THICK CAN ONE BASTARD BE roll, and the gobbo reamins un-TTT'd. score 0-1.

2nd Half:

Elves supposedly have setup wrong, but I still say they'll score in 2 turns. A rare dodge/block failure from the elves left the ball carrier dodging away nicely without a re-roll, but upon reaching the endzone, decided to GFI, and failed. The ball was collected up, and decreasing elven numbers seemed to indicate a draw was most likely. The judicious (nay, frequent) use of un-failable dodges and 1db's then ensued, leaving no room for adequate orc progress upfield. T15 saw the troll fail his thick twat roll again, leaving the Stand Firm ball carrier to attempt a dodge and...yes, you've guessed it....stood firm. The last series of elven dodges was incredible, starting from TZ, and moving 4 or 5 squares through TZ's to put a TZ on the only orc player in scoring range. A blitz against this TZ was imperative to have any chance of scoring, and 2 GFI's were needed, as supplied by the "pro" lino with Tackle that had a chance of taking the Blodge TZ elf down. Of course, I use the word "pro" very loosely, because the first GFI failed, as did the re-rolled 2nd attempt.

I don't mind losing to better teams, and definately not against better coaches. I'm used to it, as i'm really not that good. I don't mind the odd freaky result, but to be in such a strong position on T5 1st half, and again T3 in the 2nd half to earn a draw...and to eventually lose the game because of incredibly lucky scatter, dodging and 1db'ing from your opponent, whilst suffering dbl skulls, 100% failed dodges and poor block results is just bloody infuriating.

The only consolation from this pathetic display of dice-favouritism is that, as nearly 150spp-worth of players were lost by the elves due to equally freaky injury rolls, these elves sneaked a win in compensation. I don't wanna be here (91spp Lino, no injuries) was killed by Diamonds Are Forever 2...Apo saved him. Then, 1 or 2 turns later, the same Blitzer did exactly the same...Later in the game the near-50spp thrower deep-sixed too...First time I have ever caused 3 RIP's in 1 game...and they were the only cas caused too...beyond belief.

Ludicruz, I don't think you deserved the win dude, but I sure as hell don't think you deserved to lose 2 great players. I hope they quickly return to full fighting fitness, and earn the promotion they rightfully deserve, but even if they don't earn that F1 spot, i'm sure they'll luck out and gain promotion anyway :-)

#2 I don't wanna be here – Dead (RIP)
#13 My number says it all – Dead (RIP)
To make some comments on Seppukus matchreport:
-1st half...I get 2 kills against me and the apo saves the first. "Phew" then "deep sigh". I managed to get the ball on some freaky bounce...but still...I was "allowed" to blitz the ballcarrier over and over again so it was bound to happen something nasty for the orcs. And yes it did...

I made a few 1d's...and they was mainly lucky...yes...but with 6-8 players left on the field I had no other bloody way to do it but to try those. When they succeed it's a blow in your opp's face...I know...

-2nd half I start with the ball and makes a misplacement on LOS which messes with my drive. Still I manage to make almost everything as planned. No freaky dodges, crazy blitzes or incredible passes so far. Seppuku puts up a great defence and I'm forced to a 3+ catch(had to use RR), 2+ dodge(with dodge and no orc tackler in sight) to end it all with 1 lousy gfi to make the almost certain winning 2-0 TD. Had to use RR on catch...and of course I roll 1 on that gfi. The ball bounces in and lands in my catchers arms amidst a crowd of orcs. No chance for the catcher and expected nothing else. With the ball secured u played your drive too slow Seppuku...and once again I was "allowed" to blitz the ballcarrier 2-3 times with 2d's. The crazy dodges he is referring to...is 3+, 3+, 2+ with my blitzer to place him...after a missed blitz next to his BoB who was the only one able to score. Earlier Seppuku had made a successful 5+ hand off...seems u missed to mention that =)

Finally I very much think I deserve the win. But to loose 2 great players and drop in FF as well that I don't deserve. =) Without some great cash games I don't think the team will survive in F1..
