“What a final game of the season... After seeing the dwarves beat the Ogre team, I thought I would burn 90k of my cash on the Count star player. I assumed that handicaps would mean that I would lose 2 or 3 players, and having an extra high ag high str player would help!... By God did I need him!
The palmed coin and bad kick mean that the dwarves got the ball first, and they protected it well, and set about taking my team apart! Despite blitzing the ball carrier not once but twice I couldnt stop the dwarves from scoring first... however, I had just enough time to receive a kick of my own, which was also a bad kick... the count wasted no time in getting up field and equalising.... phew ... 1-1.
I was confident that with my players back from KO'd, (although i lost a ghoul to BH), I would be able to score and take a dwarf or two down with me... and I did... just... with a hand off from the Count to Steve Tyler, my Wight, to go 2-1 up... but the play of the season was about to be set into motion by the dwarves... Needless to say I will let Jokaero to tell that one... I'm still too choked!!! :-)

2 mummies in KO box made it possible for the 10 stout dwarfs to go for the 1-0.. just to see the unstoppable count walking for the 1-1 in turn 8.
Although the mighty god of blocking and dodging rolls (=beer) was on the Brewers side, the little fellas couldn't prevent the raspy singing old timers from scoring again.
good defending actions of Wotfudboy made it almost impossible for the dwarfs to even.... almost ;-)
turn16 had about just everything dwarfs are not ment to do...
2 dice against block from a longbeard who then dodged successfully to reach the end zone doing a GFI. Another 1 dice block from a longbeard against a wright, clearing the way for the ball carrying runner who himself simply had to do another dodge 2 GFI and a pass to the longbeard... TD! lol
