Second came right after my opponent scored in a freak game-bug where his thrower was able to ignore the blizzard and throw a toss from the half-pitch mark. Upon third reload, he decided not to take advantage of this bug, and tried to score a couple turns later. But my RO was not to be denied this game, and neither was my linerat who managed to pick up the loose ball and throw it downfield, through the snow, to a waiting SV for the winning score as time expired.

But damn, we earned that victory...one gutter -str, our OTS dead (apo fail), and our star RO ages his second niggle. Just what we needed right before the FC start...sigh...why do I keep playing these games to "strengthen the team" when I keep walking backwards instead?”
