“Game opens, an amazon perfect defense...which turns out to be less than perfect, as he moved from his center-packed configuration to out on the wings, leaving himself open to a crowdpush from a wolf...niggled amazon blitzer, before the action has truly begun. Add in a whole bunch of fortunate POW by my tackle-less (and block-less) necros, and we're able to walk in a score. (Though for as lucky as our hitting might have been, our ball control left a LOT to be desired...dropped 4-5 pickups...) He's unable to counter-score thx to some bad blocking and being out of position, so half ends 1-0.

Second half a pitch invasion levels 6 necros and only 2 zons, but they're so depleted from cas (he BH'd two of his own via failed dodges) that we're able to not only stop him, but eventually steal the ball and score a second time with our rookie wolf. He kept trying all game long, though...1d POWs flowed like honey from his fists, dodges were pieces of cake (provided 4+, which he passed...the 3+ were iffy), and he almost never failed a ball issue.
