“The HE's received in the first half, and it quickly turned into a schoolboy game of football as the HE's formed a cage and the DE's surrounded it... they got their hands on the ball not once but twice through the ball carrier being blitzed, but we never had it for long. Both sides threw blocks, but it was the HE's that came out on top, putting two DE's in the BH box, and KOing two more, while the DE's could just KO two in reply. The half ended with the HE's breaking away for a 1-0 lead.

As the 2nd half started none of the DE KO's came back, while both KO HE's made the starting line up. And a blizzard kicked up. Those events pretty much decided the game.

The DE's did their best to stay out of trouble but slowly the KO's and injury boxes filled up, and the rerolls were depleted... it was just a matter of playing out time trying to prevent a 2nd TD.... but it couldn't be stopped...

Just the one player missing for the next game, but a bruised pride... however, looking at the opposition to come it will be a tough ask to make it through the group. With bashiness expected, I bought a Blitzer and not a Witch Elf... probably a bad call, but we shall see...
