Injury time took a turn on the opening Kickoff. I was able to free the ball and score by turn 5 anyway. Then on the ensuing drive, we got the ball again, and were in position to attempt a score on turn 8, but a skull skull block with no RR's left put a stopper in that

2nd half started with the Dwarves up 11 players to 9. I killed the gobo and KO'd another orc to quickly whittle them down some. Thinking I had it in hand, I foolishly left my runner unprotected. Of course, Slave2 was able to pull off a great play and wrest the ball free (SI'ing Lightbolt in the process) and score a td. Starting the 2nd drive I was up 10 players to 7 and was able to push it in for the winning score on turn 8.

fumbbl hiccupped on us on the last drive, but restoring the game actually seemed to work.

Wow..TWO skills in the 1st game..very unusual for dwarves.

Oh, played this one on my 50" LCD tv...it's on my desk as I'm getting some furniture delievered tommorrow and I"ve move the stand it was on into the garage...so i t's like 2' away from my face (maybe 3)...the squares on the pitch are about an inch on a side..maybe more..it looks bigger than the actual game board...was pretty cool to do.

It was a clean game..no fouls..tho I did have to push a blitzer out of bounds to secure my 2nd TD. (only went to reserves..so not harm done).
