“Mahahalel Pathfinder didn't get a chance to test out his newly perfected guard skill as he was caught in a precarious position with half of the Illawarra Stealers cheerleaders during the week and has been evading some angry parents since. Back to the game though .. and Ferryn Wyvernsting succumbed to a fractured arm courtesy of a great block from the Vampire Hamish. With the captain gone from the field Naphtali Wildelf had to rally the Elves and a fine job he did too! He scored quickly and lead the Stingers blocking with 7 blocks of his own.
Two strong drives by the Vampires were met with some stiff Stinger defence. The Elves capitalized on every Bareneck mistake and by half time it was all Stingers game. There were some great runs by the Catchers Skirmish and SkyRaven who put together a rushing score of 39. It was quarterback Gabriel Rivenwynde though who took field honours for the Stingers with 4 completions for a passing score of 18 and 15 rushing to boot.
Twahnlow votes:
3 - Hamish (for taking out team captain Ferryn Wyvernsting early in the first half)
2 - RippedMittens (I love the name, he led the Vamp offence with 10 blocks and 6 rushing points)
1 - Daviex2259 (smashed half his own team in bloodlust including the Thrall known as Skonos ... that kind of game really!)”
