“A hard fought and ruthless batlle. In the last turns of the game, the Cakes thought they would certainly win. The ball was loose on the pitch, the mino was unprotected and easily trapped. A both of the Bull Centaurs were nursing ouchies in the dugout. Only, the Mino refused to fall prey to the trap. He valiantly pushed his way out each turn allowing a hobgoblin to pick up the ball and advance in a cage towards my goal. Turn seven, a dwarf or two sneaks up behind my trappers and forces them to either dodge to trap the mino, or just knock the dwarfs down. I couldn't risk the dodges with black orks and the mino got away. He used his turn 7 to run the mino as far away as possible, no frienldy players could effectively gaurd him from a trap. In a last ditch effort to save a draw, a brave young Ork blitzer sprinted to get in the mino's face. He tuanted the mino and called it some names. The hobgoblin with the ball, (wanting desperately to score and win the game) urges the mino to ignore the tuants. The mino throws a block anyway, and knocks himself down. If only he knew how to block, his team would have won the game. If only the hobgoblin had known, he could have excerted a little more effort to score quicker. A VERY fun game for me, I think Zudikas may have a different opinion on that. Thanks for the memories.”
