“The luck score doesn't quite tell the story. The elves were slick and skillful, weaving through the dwarven defence like a knife trhough butter, and with few stumbles until later on. The first TD was a skillfully crafted score relying on a pass which came off. Desperate blocking by a Hobgob slowed the play, but Slate Hardspear got up to run the ball home after knocking his opponent aside, and it looked all one way traffic, with even the lightly armoured Elves suffering very little in the way of bruising.
That changed when the Kritturz were given the 'hairdryer' treatment by the coach, and they got stuck in, pounding the crap out of their opponents and thinning their ranks considerably. A lucky catch of a bouncing ball after the elves had stopped a drive allowed Bull Centaur Crazy Horse to make his way to the End zone, only to be waved back by the coach, desperate to get something from the game against the skillful elves. Reluctantly, they played for a draw, and the Kritturz in the end managed that, despite what looked like suicidal/unbelievable blocking attempts by the Elves. With Hardspear missing the next game, and Cobalt joining him on the treatment table, the elves will be short on firepower for their next game, but with skillful play like this they are an opponent to watch for.
The Kritturz are thankful their luck stayed over 50% and that they won't have to play Elves every week...”
