Game started out with a Furious drive for the norses sending bones flying in their path and scoring in the top of turn 7. In thir wake lay all the 6 CASulities they made during the game, it wasnt until their 4th turn they failed to break their first AV roll. Kickoff was a blitz and the norses caught the ball and made a fast drive up the field trying to score their second goal, fortunatley they failed to complete the pass and the Behemoths is just down 1 for the second half and can field an astounding 10 players. Second half turns out to be a change of luck with Fracture making good work booting of 2 players before getting sent off himself. The CAS rate goes up as Ramtut and the mummies cut into the unprotected norsemen and after some commotion down by the endzone they are able to equalise in the top of the 7th.
A quicksnap on the kickoff puts the norse in position for a potential game winner. The Behemoths cut off all the players from scoring positions except their top catcher who they fail to put down repetedley. The scoring attempt is still difficult though and a failed handoff sends the game into overtime. Behemoths lose the toss and are forced to kick off. A nice Perfect Defence and a deep kick puts them in a good position to put heavy preassure on the norsemen and so they do. Unable to get recievers in good positions they are finally forced to make a run for it in turn 4, resulting in a failed GFI and an available ball for the bones to pick up. Hawkwing puts it in good protection and as he makes his way to a turn 8 TD the final few norsemen on the field are swiped away as some unfortunate CAS rolls awards them several painful deaths...
Behemoths wins and moves on to the second round. As the game started out I think I should have lost it. Luckiley the tides turned. A more normal game, luckwise and CASwise would probably have lead to a more comfortable 2-1 win for me in regulation but I guess BB is never normal..
