“This was an unusual game, despite the very mundane 1-1 score.

1st half, the elves recieved and were advancing nicely..until Radi Warbolt interecepted a pass. Karak was able to move the ball to the EZ, but I got greedy...Radi attempted to pass to Bonhog who was standing one square away in the EZ..fumble! rr inaccurate..scatters out of bounds. The crowd throws it around some (it was in a corner), until finaly some fan throws it at Aaro Deepbolt--who catches it. Deepbolt runs over to Warbolt and hands him the ball. Warbolt again attempts the 1square quick pass to Bonhog--again, inaccurate and out of bounds.

The elves, sensing their oppurtunity, run over to pick it up, only to 1rr1 on the pick up! Karak surrounds the ball, but the pick up is failed..and the ball bounces around to land in the tZ of 2 dwarves. With time running out, the elves run in and grab the ball out of 2 TZ's, dodges away, and throws the ball down field to Budd (I think), who then runs to Vernita Green and hands it off. Green runs out of range of any dwarves, then scores easily on turn 8.

2nd half starts with injury time, but the dwarves are able to slowly move the ball forward..till a little past mid-field, where the elves wrest the ball away--even picking it up in 2 TZ's again. Luckily (for the dwarves), we were able to get the ball loose again and secure it..scoring on our turn 7, leaving the elves 2 turns to score. Setting up perfectly (perfect defense helps), the dwarves were able to keep the elves from advancing for the winning TD (a failed dodge really helped here!)

it was fun, and not much carnage..the death was apothed, and the SI was caused on a dodge. Only 2 other KO's even happened in the game (the guard elf both times!)
