“In easily their worst game of the season, the Mouillion Vipers lost to the Undead team Deadending by the score of 2 to 1 tonight. However, the close score does not reflect the stellar play of Deadending, or the poor play of the Vipers.
Star Vampire Duke Yusef of Islam could not get his passing game off the ground, and the Undead of Deadending took advantage. Led by Star Ghoul Neferti, Deadending stopped the Viper's offense twice, each leading to a score. Strong play by Mummies Imhotep and Tutankhanem weakend Mousillion's lines, and facilitated the two turnovers.
This is the second game in row where the Viper's Vampires have not delivered their typical amazing performances. A bright spot occured halfway through the second half when Islam picked up the ball between two Deadending defenders. He managed to shake tackles and threw to an awaiting Duke Earl of Earl who quickly ran in the TD.
The Vipers did not inflict any causalties on Deadending. Deadending caused two; thrall Andre Perry smashed his hand and will miss the next game, and Thrall Deviche Desaroux has badly hurt, but will be ready for the next game. Count LeBron of James spent most of the second half knocked out.
Next for the Vipers will likely be a conference game against a yet-undetermined AWNLO foe.”
