“Battle of the Iron chefs! Rerolls were stolen and lost, Ale was chugged, food was scarfed, the pigskin went flying, Lings went soaring, it was a fantastic match between two halfling villages! One team, the HopPop's had started their pregame warmups as usual, with 15 kegs of winkle stout, and were frightfully drunk when the game began. WSAAAB showed up very angry about the simple fact that their brewmaster had passed away last month and they had not had any good ale in quite some time!

So the match began. WSAAAB hired the infamous treeman deeproot to bolster their front lines, and bolster he did! It was an ugly brutal site the angry WSAAAB team put on, killing 2 HopPops and Ko'ing a handful more. Twinkle at the end of the match said nervously that a dozen kegs of his famous Briar Pale Ale was getting delivered to the WSAAAB village ASAP, to avoid any matches in the near future.

The first TD was scored by Davies Cheeselegs throwing a TD pass to Henro Happyfellow who had been double teamed for a better part of the first half.

After the 2nd half kickoff, the frightfully drunk hoppops couldnt pickup the ball and fumbled and bumbled it all over the place. WSAAAB took advantage by the star Deeproot tossing Bobby clear across the field, bobby landed perfectly scampered to where the ball was laying, picked it up, dodged out of a couple drunken HopPops tackle zones, and jumped into the endzone for a WSAAAB TD!! It was quite amazing to watch. The score was 1-1.

We now take time to mourn the deaths of bink bobo koko and Kobo stoutbrew. Both died rather pathetically, the first died because the Apoth was too drunk to find the pitch.

Thousand angry roots tossed Crats CakeEater late in the 2nd half so far down the field, the WSAAAB team couldnt put anyone into position to stop another HopPops TD and the game ended 2-1.

It was a brilliant match played between two nearby Ling Villages and we hope to see another match in the near future, one where the WSAAAB are not so angry. Of course maybe they dont really care about the ball...”
