Hoy! An exciting match from the start - the stunties needed a win to get through and I could do with a tie. Things weren't as easy as they initially seemed, though, as the lizies had a very diminished team facing a rather large nurgling squad with a wizard (who fortunately for me never got used at all).
A nasty opening foul MNG'd a saurus who promptly got apothed (couldn't spare anymore players).
The lack of speed of the stunties meant that they had a hard time advancing but managed to in the end as one brave skink remained on the field - the only thing with enough agility and speed to reach a nurgling who burst forth as a lightning following a saurus knocking himself to the ground.
The lizards didn't manage to equalize thanks to good defence play from BooAhl.
2nd half commenced and all skinks returned so we now had three to use. One Saurus in the BH box and a nurgling in the opposite BH box and 1 in the KO box.
Soon the score was 1-1.
The last ramaining turns offered a great variety of possible outcomes. Following a snake eye by nurgling GFI a block on the ball carrier opened up and he was brough down along with the blocking saurus greatly enchancing the possibility of a lizie win. Neither got the win in the end, but as the lizies have had better previous scores and a thusly going to the finals.
BooAhl played with a cheerful spirit and is recommended as a opponent for others to face. Thanks for the game, mate!”
