“This match was a strange (and for the dwarves disheartening) affair. Although the team ratings were uneven, and the Str ratings 20 points off, the Vandals were confident they could compete. That was only until the Midgets took the field. With their impressive array of grass-stained uniforms (from piling on), and their bulging, "mighty blow" biceps, the norse feared it would be a rough ride.
However, the Mashing Midgets had been through a wringer their last two games and were playing injured. Early in the game, they suffered two more casualties, including the death of one of their most popular players.
The vandals, with a full roster of 16, remained fresh throughout the game, even while three dwarves were knocked out almost the entire second half (allowing the Midgets to field only five players on the last drive). Thorr even had an interception, the first in the teams history.
Clogfoot, meanwhile, learned an important lesson about the sidelines. As much as the fans enjoy ripping a player to death (as they did with Tolsk), no one gives him any credit (SPP), so his pathetic victory dance was wasted (and he was promptly knocked out by the other team).
In all, the Vandals must thank their Norse guiding spritis for this win, an unlikely lopsided contest.”
