What a bizarre game.... dice rape it was for the first half where I was getting steam rolled. My opponent finished the half with 80% luck on the back of 4 casualties to me! I struggled to score my first TD, and when neither of my KO'd players came back, I was unable to put up much of a fight to stop the reply score.

All in all, I made just 1 from 8 KO rolls... whilst my opponent made 3 from 4. Made the game very tough as I was outnumbered and more of his players had Block.

Second half though, I finally had some awesome luck...

After losing the ball, I managed to knock it free again with my new Ogre blitzing and casuing a kill (apothed). The ball spilt free. My Lino on the sideline then made a 5+, 4+ and 3+ dodge to get to the ball, then a 3+ pick up and 2 GFI to score an equaliser on turn 7!

Very improbable play but that is javabowl heh.

All up it was a fun game though I certainly was not enjoying the first half where I was getting hosed. But at the end of the day, no permanent injuries so that was cool.”
